Moreover, he has been heading the business administration of our engineering firm since 2002.

In this context, he is particularly interested in the efficient use of information technology.  Please click on our Success Stories to learn more about how vital the IT infrastructure at hhpberlin is for our achievements.

In his free time, Stefan Truthän actively contributes to the various associations and organizations of which he is a member.  He is also an active member of the Friedrichshain branch of the Berlin Fire Department.

hhpberlin has been closely tied to Margot Ehrlicher from the start, and she has been supporting and promoting our staff both in technical terms and in their personal growth ever since the company was founded.  Margot Ehrlicher is a highly respected authority in precautionary fire protection.

She held a leadership position with the Berlin Fire Department for more than twenty years prior to joining Hosser, Hass + Partner in 1992, focusing on the prevention of fires as opposed to fighting them.

Following the spin-off in 2000, Margot Ehrlicher took the helm of hhpberlin GmbH.  Her first task was to position the company in the market and to grow it.

Today, she is supported by two managing directors, meaning she can concentrate fully on managing the company in technical terms and on taking care of our Key Accounts.

In addition, Margot Ehrlicher is a publicly appointed, sworn expert of the Baukammer (Chamber of Construction) Berlin for fire protection and post-fire investigations, as well as a reviewing engineer for fire protection and life safety issues.

  • Vereinigung zur Förderung des Deutschen Brandschutzes e.V. (vfdb, Association for the Promotion of German Fire Safety)
  • Appointed by the Baukammer (Chamber of Construction) Berlin as a publicly appointed, sworn expert for fire protection and post-fire investigations
  • Chairperson of the Expert Committee of the Baukammer Berlin

  • Member of the examinations committee for the recognition of reviewing engineers / reviewing experts for fire protection and life safety of the Länder
  • Member of the interest group of fire protection engineers

The third among the managing shareholders of hhpberlin is Karsten Foth.

As a student of construction engineering, Karsten Foth received the Prof. Dirk Schröder Award for his exceptional performance.  He has been working for hhpberlin since 2002.  Initially responsible as project leader for the fire protection planning for numerous large construction projects, he became one of our managing directors in 2008.

His main focus is on strategically developing the company, and on human resource management.
